Documentation re faith links with civil society

1          Faith in England’s North West (2003) is a professional and thorough-going survey of all the local faith communities in the North-west of England. Initiated by Mgr John Devine (Churches Officer for the North West) and funded by the North West Development Agency and the North West Regional Assembly, it details the many ways in which faith communities are already involved in community activity beyond the provision of worship.

It contains the recommendations of the Steering Group reviewing patterns of engagement between Government and Faith Communities in England. It has implications for local as well as national government.
