I have been involved in the voluntary and community sector of Halton for over
20 years and that includes being part of Halton Together from it’s very
inception in 2003, and have played an active role in it’s development.
I am also involved with numerous groups and organisations locally, which include the Acorn Community Nursery, Halton Credit Union, Halton Community Partnership Trust, Runcorn Residents Federation and Halton Disability Advice and Appeals Centre to mention just a few.
On a Regional and National basis
I server as Chairperson to the Tenants And Residents Organisation of England
(T. A. R. O. E.), the Housing Corporations Tenant Consumer Panel, a Director
of the Hosing Ombudsman’s Service, the Vice Chair of the Guinness Trust
North Regional Board, the North West Tenants and Residents Steering Group and
I have also served as an Employment Tribunal Lay member for the past twenty
five years.
