Parenting Fund

The National Family and Parenting Institute, as prime contractor, with PricewaterhouseCoopers as subcontractor, has been named the preferred bidder to be Fundholder of the Parenting Fund by the Department for Education and Skills. The Parenting Fund, which will award grants to organisations working to support parents for the next two years, will be officially launched in the spring. Negotiations are continuing on the detailed administration of the Fund, and it is expected the first grant applications will be received in the early summer to a timescale which is in line with the Compact.
