Halton
OPEN Forum has been established to inform and consult with people
aged 50 plus and carers of older people on issues, which concern
them such as: transport, health, housing, safety & security,
quality of life and finance/benefits. It is a voice for mature
residents of Halton and is aimed at improving services and increasing
quality of life. Strong communication links are aintained with
leaders of local health & social care organisations, who have
the power to implement changes and develop new services.
Membership
offers people the opportunity to have their 'say', be kept up-to-date
with events/new services/benefits/progress on improving services
for people aged 50 plus and also receipt of Age Concern Halton's
quarterly newsletter incorporating 'UPDATE', which focuses on
health & social care issues. Our strap line is "Alone
a whisper, Together a VOICE'.
