To act as a pressure group to council departments and other agencies, giving a voice to local concerns, views and opinions, reporting back the results of such representation. To encourage community involvemnt in issues and activities which encourage a sense of empowerment and local pride, to enable individuals and local groups to gain skills and confidence to act on their own and others behalf.
