We are one of nearly 50 Groundwork Trusts in the UK. Each works with local partners to build sustainable communities through joint environmental action. This means using environmental projects as a catalyst for securing lasting social, economic anbd environmental benefits for all who live and work in the area of Halton and Warrington. We intend to fulfill this aim through projects and partnerships that will: help build stronger neighbouhoods, provide training opportunities for work and stimulate enterprise, provide learning opportunities focussed on sustainability and citizenship, provide opportunities to integrate business and environment, help to reconnect people with their surroundings, help young people to realise their potential.
