Programme
The programme
has not yet returned from the printers – it is expected early next week but all
members were happy with the format.
Alison suggested that we contact Matt at the council and request that he
make two very large programmes on his plotter for
display at Norton Priory. We have still
not had invoices from him so Kath will make contact to request these.
4.
Publicity
An interview has already been
broadcast on Halton FM and the plan is as follows:
·
Contact
to be made with the Weekly News and the World.
It was agreed that the advert should be included on 15th and
22nd April. Contact details
for the World – Barbara Jordan
·
Contact
to be made with Radio Merseyside and Wire FM
·
Flyers
to be sent to schools, the hospital, the bus companies, community centres, libraries and the council buildings
Angela Kaye agreed to circulate
flyers to the Churches and libraries in Widnes and to Upton Community
Centre. She will need another 20 flyers.

Details for the day
Hough
Green Millenium Arts Project – they will need access
to Norton Priory on Friday 23rd to deliver and set up their own
quilt
Centre 8 –
will need access on Saturday 24th to deliver lighting
St Mary’s
Drama Group – will need access on Friday 23rd to deliver staging
All other
groups will not need access until Sunday – Kath to check what time Norton
Priory will be open.
6.
Photography
It is
planned that a photographer will take photos during the day for use by Halton
Together in publicity and advertising in the future. Due to the difficulties with regard to
permission for use of the photos it has been agreed that notices will be
displayed throughout the Priory to inform people that photos will be taken and
used in publications/adverts. Anyone not
wishing their photo to be used will then be instructed to collect and wear a
brightly coloured sticker to identify them. In the case of the workshops where children
may be involved, permission slips will be on hand for parents to agree
consent. Again any parent not wishing
their childs photo to be
used will be asked to collect a sticker.
