Copies of the previous minutes were distributed and all members were briefed on the progress so far with regard to discussions around the event.

Dianne is chair of the Runcorn East Schools Cluster and confirmed that there is already some interest from other teachers.

As we do not want to make this first event too big it was decided that Palacefields should represent the school community with regard to the national curriculum.

Ruchi asked that I submit her details to Rahale Akram so that they can discuss possible joining of forces.  Kath agreed to do this.

The date of Friday 6th Feb was confirmed but it was suggested that the Catalyst Museum may not be the most appropriate venue.  An alternative of Runcorn Town Hall was suggested and Kath and Alison agreed to make an appointment to view the rooms at both places.

It was also suggested that the timing could possibly be more advantageous if brought forward to 4-7pm which would allow children to attend if they wished.

Both venue and timing are to be agreed at the next meeting.

All attendees agreed that the event and future forum were good ideas and would help us to celebrate our differences.

Everyone was asked to bring their ideas about contribution to the next meeting to be held at HVA on 20th January
