I co-founded the Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group after losing my Husband
to bowel cancer in 1991. For 9 years I was Treasurer and Committee Member (unpaid).
In June 2001 I was appointed as Development co-ordinator for the group with
lottery funding for 3 years. I am also a non-executive director of Halton Primary
Care Trust Board with special interest in links with the voluntary sector.
